Shot-stopper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): The Hammers were close to being six behind at Bournemouth if it wasn't for him. Key display, stepped up and displayed real class. Superb shot-stopping to help achieve a 2-2 draw. Defeat could have dismantled their campaign.

Defensive unit

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's in the running for player of the season. Many discuss Arsenal's squad. He is the best performer by a country mile.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): It would take a crazy Forest fan to say 'Murillo will score and we'll beat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You could have gotten long shots on that. He was excellent. He's becoming a powerhouse. He is truly a challenge. Delighted to see him playing as he did previously.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I watched him a few times last year in Italy for AC Milan and he had difficulties because he was making mistakes. However with the Magpies he's been dominant. He's been really strong and powerful and looks elegant. It seems he has secured a ideal club.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not typically a full-back, leaning towards a contemporary style in attack. He is a wonderful signing for Brighton. Who would be surprised at them unearthing more talent from obscurity? It seemed releasing Pervis Estupinan it was odd but Brighton know more than us.

Engine room

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Two of the same type and they're in for the same reason. Their teams won, many mention the scorers, but lacking these players those teams don't click. They perform brilliantly. They break up play, they attack together.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The standout performer. A lot of followers, such as family members, had doubts if he could be the man to lead them to success. Three goals in the north London derby and currently fans desire to make a statue of him. Finishing, poise, he dominated. The best player on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Maybe this is point of agreement with Thomas Tuchel on - he is at a point now where it is quite challenging to bench him. I didn't think his beginning was strong to the season, In my opinion he was a little bit entitled and believed he could secure a transfer to Chelsea, and likely desired it, but he appears to have settled down. Two superb finishes obviously against Leeds pulled his side when trailing. He made the impact.

Strikers

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I said he seemed lacking his typical form. It seemed he'd lost a yard. Yet amazing. Simply phenomenal. He was excellent. Brilliant in his play and in his dual goals.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A very notable player. He performs strongly, typically sharper as a substitute, but due to Gordon's absence so he must start. He squandered a great opportunity against Manchester City at 0-0 with his easiest shot. But to have the inner resilience to place himself into difficult situations and get a brace was remarkable.

Boss

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He arrives and outperforms Arne Slot. A superb tactical approach. Possibly it was five or six for Forest and nobody could have argued.
